Samsung Galaxy M35 5G spotted on GeekBench with familiar specs
Following the official announcement of the Galaxy A35 5G, it comes as no surprise that Samsung is also working on the M35 5G, which recently appeared in the GeekBench database under the codename SM-M356B.
Similar to the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A54, the M35 5G is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. This chipset features a 5nm Samsung in-house design with a CPU configuration of four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores working at 2.0 GHz. It also includes a Mali G68 GPU, supports UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM. While specifics about the Galaxy M35 5G are still uncertain, the GeekBench test revealed a device with 6GB of RAM running Android 14, which aligns with expectations.
Further details regarding specifications are yet to be confirmed. Based on previous M-series models, we anticipate a similar or identical 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a flat middle frame design. A larger 6,000 mAh battery, expandable storage, and at least an 8GB RAM variant are also likely to be included, as these have been standard features in the M-series. Potential downgrades compared to the Galaxy A35 5G may involve ingress protection ratings, camera capabilities, and speaker setup.
