One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI for S23 family, Fold5 and Flip5 arrives this week
Samsung’s upcoming One UI 6.1 update, infused with AI features, is on the verge of being released for last year’s flagship devices. The company has already confirmed that all the AI functionalities introduced with the Galaxy S24 series in January will be extended to the Galaxy S23 lineup, including the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Z Flip5, and Z Fold5.
The anticipated update is set to roll out on March 28, with initial availability in select regions. Users of the aforementioned devices have received notifications indicating the imminent release.
In addition, Samsung China has echoed the confirmation from Samsung Korea regarding the March 28 rollout date. Samsung Korea has reiterated this information on its community forums and hinted that the Galaxy S23 FE will be among the first devices to receive the update – a departure from the usual delay in updates for FE models.
While the update may take some time to reach all eligible devices globally, it is expected to kick off later this week and potentially extend into April.
