Apple launches designated Developer channel on YouTube ahead of WWDC 2024
Apple began live-streaming its WWDC events on YouTube starting in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. While transitioning to a mix of in-person events and pre-recorded content over time, all sessions were exclusively accessible through the Apple Developer app.
Prior to WWDC 2024, Apple debuted a new YouTube channel named Apple Developer. With 2.5 months remaining until the June 10th event, where new content is expected, the channel currently features all sessions from the 2023 Developers Conference.
Apple already maintains its own YouTube channel for videos promoting devices like the iPhone and Vision Pro. The Apple Developer channel boasts 40 videos for viewers to enjoy, though comments have been disabled.
The upcoming June event will unveil the latest versions of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, as well as new iterations of watchOS, tvOS, macOS, and visionOS.
