Samsung Galaxy Watch7 to arrive in three versions with 50% more power efficient chip

The latest rumor suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch7 will be released in three different versions. These wearables are expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 at Samsung’s rumored Unpacked event in early to mid July.

The Galaxy Watch7 is rumored to release in Classic and Pro versions, along with an unnamed third option, possibly the rectangular shaped Galaxy Watch previously mentioned.

If this speculation proves to be true, it will be a first for Samsung to offer three different versions of its latest smartwatch. In previous years, we usually had a vanilla model alongside either a Classic or a Pro variant.

The new Galaxy Watch7 series is rumored to feature Samsung’s Exynos W940 SoC, which is claimed to be 50% more power efficient than the Exynos W930 found in the Galaxy Watch6 series. This improvement in efficiency may not result in a 50% boost in battery life but should still be significant. The W940 could potentially be Samsung’s first chip to utilize its 3nm process, indicating a potential 30% increase in performance as well.
